Chathurika Peiris, whose full name is Kachchakaduge Chathurika Jayamani Peiris, was born on January 2, 1981, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Chathurika Peiris made her cinema debut in the 2004 film Aadaraneeya Wassaanaya directed by Senesh Dissanayake Bandara, where she played the lead role of Chapa Gangadarie Abeynaike.
