Hewakalu Ambalage Sachini Nipunsala is a Sri Lankan television presenter and dancer who was born on November 7, 1992, in Boralesgamuwa, Sri Lanka. She studied at Vidayakara Balika Vidyalaya in Maharagama and later attended Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo, where she completed her Advanced Level studies. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura with a B.Sc. Honours Special degree in Marketing Management, achieving First Class. Her verified Instagram account, @sachini__nipunsala, has over 1 million followers, while her TikTok account @sachini1107 has over 1 million followers and more than 18 million likes. Her YouTube channel has over 570K subscribers.
Sachini Nipunsala began appearing in children’s television programs before establishing her professional career as a television presenter at TV Derana in 2006. She hosted programs including Amuthu Muthu, Lassana Ahasa, and Ammai Mamai before becoming a regular presenter of Derana Little Star from its second season. She co-hosted the reality program with Madhava Wijesinghe and continued with the show through its tenth season in 2020. She also became a co-presenter of the musical chat program Derana Champions Stars Unlimited alongside Madhava Wijesinghe and Peshala Manoj from 2014.
Her television career expanded into several other major programs and events.
