Saindhavi was born on January 3, 1989, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds Indian nationality and belongs to the Tamil ethnic community. As a native of Tamil Nadu, she primarily speaks Tamil and is also fluent in English and Telugu through her musical career. She completed her schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram, Chennai.
