Shivaniyaa Ravinantha is a Sri Lankan media professional who was born on August 03, 1996 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She is of Sri Lankan Tamil heritage and grew up between Jaffna and Nawalapitiya, where she pursued her early education. Based on her regional background, she is fluent in Tamil and also communicates in English, which supports her work in media and public engagement. She studied at Kathiresan Hindu Ladies College in Nawalapitiya, Kandy Girls High School, and Kathiresan Central College before continuing higher education at the University of Colombo, where she studied Journalism. She also completed studies in Library and Information Management at NILIS, University of Colombo, and pursued IT and English programs at Esoft Metro Campus.
